Johannes Schmidt, Julian Lacey_Foto_Ian Whalen (IMG_4320)I want to wish all of my readers and subscribers a very, happy, healthy, and successful New Year. I hope 2015 will bring you, or you and your dancin’ boys, continued dancing success.

For many dancin’ boys and their families, the holiday season, or Nutcracker season, can feel quite busy! It’s also very fulfilling for all concerned.

Ron and I were thrilled to have the chance to go to Germany and see Julian perform in the first principle role of his professional career: The Nutcracker Prince. He had just three performances, but that’s an accomplishment for his first year as a full company member–and only a member of the corps de ballet. It was very exciting for all of us.

I hope I can continue to provide dancin’ boys and their parents with support this next year so more boys get to perform on professional stages in the coming years.   Please feel free to leave your questions and concerns below, and I will try to answer them in upcoming posts. I hope to write more consistently on this blog this year.
