On December 22, Nichelle at Dance Advantage will tally up the comments on all the participating dance blogs in her Best Dance Blog of 2010 competition. My Son Can Dance lies low in the ranking, I’m very sorry to say.

I am putting out one last call to my readers: If you have found this blog helpful, insightful, enjoyable, educational, humorous, or supportive….please leave a comment on the previous post about the competition. You can find it by clicking here or pasting this link in your browser: http://mysoncandance.net/2010/12/10/vote-my-son-can-dance-the-best-dance-blog-of-2010/ .

I’ve been proud to say I’ve been voted a “best blog” before. But the Dance Advantage contest means so much more. It’s a vote from dancers, dance parents, dance teachers, etc. It’s a vote from YOU. By voting and getting me in the running–or helping me win–the blog gets more publicity, which means the hard work I do to support boys who want to be professional dancers gets out into the world a bit farther. That means it helps more boys and more parents trying to help their own sons make it in the world of dance.

Whether I win, place or barely show, I’ll continue writing posts for My Son Can Dance, but it would be nice to know the blog is still appreciated. Your comments on the posts that really count–when I discuss an issue pertinent to dancin’ boys, and your emails and questions continue to make this blog worth writing.
