Sorry I didn't get to this earlier. We had to add money to Julian's meal plan. It worked out. He wasn't buying snacks or anything bad. He was just hungry. He loved the program.

My son is there also and loving it too. He is in the younger group as he is only 14. He said that the food issue was addressed quickly after the nutritionist came and talked with them about "buying snacks" with their "left-over money." When it was realized that they were often going like 25 to 50 cents over just to get a basic meal, things were changed and quickly. So no more food problems.

I have been impressed too with how well they try to teach them how to be responsible by helping them know what to put on the sign out sheet and how to give themselves enough time. And yes I agree they are more like camp counselors and there is a guy in their suite to add to the comraderie as well as to do room inspections and bed checks.

And what is it with summer? We are so busy here too!
